In the 1960s or 1970s, a new competitor for PEZ entered the market with a slew of licensed characters from that era’s favorite cartoons and kid’s programs on television. This line was aptly called “T.V. Pals”. The dispensers were produced for Lion Novelties, Inc. in Brooklyn, NY. However, it does appear that the company changed names later on to Henal Nov. and Prem. Co. (Novelties and Premiums Company). The dispenser was actually produced in Hong Kong and the candy made in the U.S.A.
